My number one job is being a mom to three awesome kids. I also find so much joy when creating art for Jen Rubin Designs. I am always a student and love to learn and refresh my skills with in-person and online classes.
My family loves the outdoors and all things nature - land, air or sea. My Surface Pattern Design pieces try to reflect the creatures, as well as the flora and fauna found while playing or exploring with my kids.
My style is a mixed bag. I love quirky and modern but also love the details of capturing a subject as true as can be. Which is why I'm working towards a Certificate in Natural Science Illustration. As a result, you can expect to see both styles, and a blur of the two, in my collections.
